Why are you serving with Y.A.L.L.?: Growing up in the Catholic Church, I was drawn to the virtue of Catholic Social Teaching and later on Social Justice. I am passionate about creating a more democratic America where everyone feels like their voice counts and is heard in our voting system.
Work Area(s):
Advocacy from Campus to Capitol Hill:
- Organized campus voter registration events and nonpartisan voter education in Fall 2024.
- October 2024–Led lobby visits with Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) and Senator Tammy Baldwin’s (D-WI) staffs on the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act.
- March 2025–Led a lobby visit on Capitol Hill with Rep. Gwen Moore (WI-4) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to defunding detention and deportation.
- April 2025–Led a virtual lobby visit with Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to Medicaid funding.
